Besides the beauty, every area of Rancho Radical is naturally preserved.  In the area where the Canopy Walk is located this preservation enables the visitor to witness and appreciate the fauna and flora at an angle, and at a higher level, than most people are accustomed to.  Without disturbing the life of the forest itself, they can see down to the forest floor from the tops of the trees.
Canopy Walk was created in Europe as a means by which researchers were able to study the fauna, the flora, and the species that are only found at the tops of the trees, such as bromeliads, species of birds, primates, and others.
